Don’t Go is the new single song by Canadian pop/rock singer-songwriter Hannah Georgas which is expected to release via itunes by This Friday April 29th 2016 Digitally. As previously reported, Georgas had started working on the album last year with Holy Fuck’s Graham Walsh. A press release adds that the album was named after her 98-year-old grandmother and offers tunes that are “playful, suggestive, funky, and foreboding.”
The forthcoming record is set to be a little darker and a whole lot more melancholy than what we’ve seen previously from Georgas – unsurprisingly, we can’t wait. “Don’t Go” is from Georgas’ anticipated new full-length album For Evelyn, which will be released this summer on Dine Alone Records. In celebration of the release, Georgas will embark on a North American tour beginning June 17 at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre with City and Colour followed by a series of dates with Boy & Bear. a haunting lightning bolt of a synth-driven love song showcasing Georgas’ angelic vocal and ability to craft emotionally-charged, evocative tracks that keenly explore every corner of the alt-pop genre.
